Kenmore is a riverside Suburbs and localities (Australia), suburb in the City of Brisbane, Queensland, Australia. In the , Kenmore had a population of 9,675 people. Geography Kenmore is on the Brisbane River by road south-west of the Brisbane CBD. The suburb is bounded to the north-east by Cubberla Creek, to the south-east by the Centenary Highway, to the south by the Brisbane River and to the west by Moggill Creek. Mosquito Island is a island in the Brisbane River in the south of the suburb (), but there is no longer a channel separating it from the mainland. The island is undeveloped. Kenmore Farm
Kenmore Farm is a historic farm and educational property at 369 Kenmore Road, just outside Amherst, Virginia. The centerpiece of the more than property is a c. 1856 brick Greek Revival farmhouse, built by Samuel Garland, Sr., a prominent local lawyer and politician. The property was used intermittently between 1872 and 1899 as a preparatory high school, operated by Henry Aubrey Strode, who later became the first president of Clemson University. As such, its building complex includes a dormitory and apartment building in addition to various mainly agricultural outbuildings, including a corn crib and barn, and the remnants of an outdoor summer kitchen. The property has seen predominantly agrarian use in the 20th century. The property was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 2015. Kenmore High School was a public high school in Akron, Ohio, United States. At the time of its closure in 2017, it was one of seven high schools in the Akron Public Schools. Athletic teams were known as the Cardinals and the school competed as a member of the Akron City Series. The school closed after the 2016–17 school year and was merged with Garfield High School. The merged school, initially known as Kenmore–Garfield High School, was housed at the Kenmore High School building from 2017 to 2022 while a new facility was built on the site of Garfield High School.
